Easily my favorite ring I’ve made so far this year. This was an ambitious project to properly set this large faceted blue topaz. It took a lot of time and tlc to get this setting right and I couldn’t be happier.
It’s a bigger ring than I usually make. It’s a comfortable US size 10 and is a great ring for channeling your inner blue super powers or for turning some heads during cocktail hour. The gold accents work really well with the blue from the Topaz. Whether in the direct sunlight or in the shade, this gemstone POPS! Such an exquisite color in this Topaz.. photos hardly do it justice.
